BODA BIRD by Bertil Vallien
Bertil Vallien (1938–) is Sweden's most famous glass artist and designer, multi-award winning and richly represented in the world's museums. He works with a mythical dreamy and symbolic motif world. Vallien is best known as the master of sand casting. His massive, deeply blue-colored boats belong to modern glass history. Author of Château, one of Kosta Boda's best-selling tableware.
